Founder’s Choices – Honorable Mentions of Amazing Images

We receive so many incredible images in our competition. Sometimes the images are fantastic in every way, but don’t get an award. Why? There could be multiple factors when you don’t win. The most common factor is that your super-amazing, deserving image was very similar to another winning image in that round. Popular subjects, such as tearful vows, couples sharing food or popping champagne are the also the hardest to win with- because so many other photographers are submitting their most amazing images too!

Every judge has their own likes and tendernesses. Your image may hit the emotions of some judges, but not all. If you don’t win, submit again! The right judge will award your image. These are the 2024 images that had the biggest impact on me.
